This is working life.
They'll NEVER appreciate it if you reach office an hour or two earlier to work. But they'll assume you have no work if you leave early.
So don't give a damn about your work. No matter how much work you've done, no matter how efficient you've worked, you'll be labelled as "The One With No Work" if you go home early.
This is what you get if you're working in a bank.
People will try to wipe their boss's ass; People will act like they're doing a lot of work; People will try to throw all their work to you; People will come up with tonne of reasons to push their responsibilities to you.
This is working life.
If you perform very well today, people will expect more from you.
If you perform badly today, people will comment about you.
Whatever you did in the office, it's never enough.
People will never appreciate what you have done for them, they will only "expect more" or "look down" on you.
This is working life.
In short,
PLEASE DO NOT WORK IN BANK IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A HAPPY WORKING LIFE.
