I've been reading people's blog and tumblr about the mystery going on in Pretty Little Liars, about who the hell is A. And so, i found this tumblr page, with a post about Ezra being A, and the proves. And yeah, i think he/she really did a great job in interpreting it. So, here it is, about Ezra = A.
Hey guys! I’m SO excited for next week’s big reveal… assuming they actually REVEAL A AS PROMISED. I think they will.
To preface, I’d like to say even if they don’t reveal Fitz as “A”, I’m holding on to this theory til the bitter end. We know there are at least 2 A’s (-A and —A) and, according to the psychic demon child, it’s both a MAN and WOMAN. Which kind of blows my fitz/wren theory.. and Melissa is being made so obvious now that it can’t be her… So IDK who the woman would be. Dark hair? Mona? Maya? Jenna? Thats about all…
But I don’t think its Maya because I’m convinced she’s dead. Her text tonight sounded just like A. How would “Maya” know she contacted her parents?
I was scared that Mona was A and they were going with the books, but thats too obvious. Now, we know Mona has hacking skills, so possibly she hacked Hanna’s phone and saw “A” texts… decided to send fake “A” texts to herself as a means to fit in and reconnect with Hanna. She feels especially lonely now that Noel dumped her, and Hanna wasn’t really there for her until now.
And Jenna has been an obvious choice from the start. If she turns out to be “A” I will be upset.
Anyways, back to Fitz. This is long. Have fun.
Literary References
We know Mr. Fitz Is an English teacher and loves books. Apparently, A feels the same way. Read the following for examples. I may have missed a few.

In English class, the discussion was about “To Kill a Mockingbird”, in which Fitz got really heated and upset about Atticus’ hypocrisy in covering up the death of Bob Ewell. This could parallel with Ali’s death… someone far from innocent, and others being blamed for the murder (the girls, ian, etc.)

Ezra’s short story:
“In a moment her life was undone. Everything she knew disappeared, drifiting off into the summer sun.”
Ali was killed in the summer… one might say that in a moment, HER life was undone.

A Message:
“The Dedication: Do it right. I’ll be watching, just like Tom Sawyer.”

On the grave of the old women Ashley Marin stole money from:
“To sleep, per chance to dream.”
This is a Shakespeare quote. Aria later mentions they have been studying Shakespeare in Fitz’ class.

During the play rehearsal, Jenna tells Fitz that she is fascinated by the nature of evil and he later asks the question “was he born evil or did he learn it?” Well, did you, Ezra?

During the storm at school, Emily received a text directing her to “Great Expectations”.

In one episode, they showed a huge billboard with eyeglasses… Looked pretty much exactly like the poster from “The Great Gatsby”. Mr. Fitz had just taught that book in class.

Lolita:
Ali apparently enjoyed dressing up and pretending to be Vivian Darkbloom, a reference from Lolita. What is that book about? AN ENGLISH PROFESSOR who falls in love and has sexual relations with an under aged girl. Sound familiar?
Also, please think back to when Ali came over to Spencer’s, fighting tears because of something one of Jason’s idiot friends did to her. Fitz and Jason have to be about the same age. Maybe they were friends and maybe he was infatuated with Ali. Maybe he molested or raped her? And maybe she loved Lolita so much because in the end, she got away from the pedophile.
OTHER STUFF:
Spencer’s Laptop vanished from her school locker. As a teacher, Fitz had access to locker combinations. There were also numerous other A notes found in lockers, and I haven’t noticed them getting anything in their lockers since Fitz stopped teaching at Rosewood.

When Noel threatened Fitz with outing him and Aria, he wrote “-A” on the paper, and gave Fitz this look. Fitz looked like he was about to crap his pants. Maybe he suspected that Noel knew about him being “A” and was also threatening him with that knowledge.

Also regarding Noel… “A” has NEVER done anything to actually help the girls (excluding pushing Ian off the belltower). Why would “A” suddenly want to protect Aria and Ezra’s relationship? “A” wouldn’t. Ezra, however, would. Convenient then that “A” would plant stuff in Noel’s locker, saving Fitz. Fitz had access not only to the locker combination, but also to the test answers found in his locker.

At the dance, Fitz was working the coat check. He had an easy opportunity to watch Hanna to make sure she was dancing with Lucas, and also was right at the coat check to put the money she was ‘earning’ back into her purse.

At the first dance, Fitz was also in attendance and could have written on the Tarot card. He left the dance early, and we know at that time, “A” was spray painting the population sign.

After homecoming, when Toby went missing, “A” messages virtually came to a halt for a few episodes. This is the exact time Ezra was in NY for an “interview”. “A” messages resumes as soon as he came back into town.

“She knew too much.”
Why would “A” run Hanna over with his car, when she knew nothing about A’s identity. The only thing she knew at that time was that Fitz was hooking up with Aria. That is ALL she knew too much about.

The trophy with rat’s blood was found with all the play props. Fitz had easy access to that box.

Jenna offered to compose a song on flute for the play. The song she played was later found in the hotel room, which was set up to look like Jenna was staying there. If Jenna had given Fitz a tape of her song, he could have easily set it up to play in the hotel.

At the beginning of the series, A copy of Ali’s poster that was all over town blew over toward the girls with an “A” message on it. We saw Fitz ride by on his bike RIGHT before that. I mean literally, he was righhhhht there. He sent that message their way.

Aria texted Fitz about his ~eyes~, and the old lady at the bracelet store commented on A’s eyes.

We know Fitz was in Rosewood when Ali was killed. They made a point to show him in the Halloween episode.

Why was Fitz at Ali’s funeral? He did not know her, and he did not know anyone that knew her (except Aria I guess, who he met like 2 days before and didn’t know she was Ali’s friend at the time). Who shows up to a random stranger’s funeral whom they have no connection to?

Aria told Ezra that she was going to confess to her mom about her dad’s afraid. He said, “are you sure?” By the time she got home, the “A” letter telling her all about it was already in her mom’s hands. Ezra was the only one that KNEW she was going to tell her mom that night, and wanted to beat her to it. Also- they focused on his typewriter that episode and several other times since.

Jackie referred to Ezra by his nickname of “Z”. The same episode, they got a message that said “Sometimes the easiest way from A to B is the long way around”… You mean, like, from A to Z? Hmmmm.

Every season/half season finale has had one of the liars’ lives in jeopardy. Aria is the only one left now, which would make a Fitz is A reveal even more dramatic.

During the Halloween episode, after the girls came back to the party after the whole Ali thing, they mention that everyone at the party got older, and that Noel’s older brother’s friends must have taken over the party. Fitz would fit in nicely with that crowd, dontcha think? Why even mention an older crowd if A isn’t an older person. (Points to Melissa, too)

Fitz only wanted to come clean to Aria’s parents after Jackie threatened to do it. A doesn’t want anyone to get the upperhand on him, so he wanted to reveal it on his own terms. How many times has “A” attempted to out them, and yet they never got “caught”. Ever. Only when they wanted to. And if “A” really wanted to get them caught, they would be. Easily.

Why was Aria eating dinner ALONE at a seemingly decent restaurant? And then Aria still made it home before him. When she called, he didn’t answer. Probably because he was at the lake house doing A duties.

At homecoming, Spencer was at the fortune teller who said something about a couple being a “bad match”, and that there was violence or vengeance in him. IDK the exact quote. But at the time she assumed this was referring to Toby/Emily… Well, Toby’s innocent has more or less since been proven. This could have definitely been referring to Aria/Fitz.
Well, thats all I’ve got for now. I dont think Fitz will be the A revealed next week, but i DO still think he’s A. Especially if they only reveal one person and it ends up being a woman. The woman, I have NO idea who could be. My main suspects have always been men, and Melissa.
