My Family
"Without family, a house is never a home."
I used to complain a lot, about staying at home.
No freedom, no mood to study, too dependent on family, and the list never just stop here.
But now, I'm really grateful for that I'm staying at home everyday, meeting my "king", "queen" and "prince" everyday. My family, are not like normal family, where we don't use to express our love towards each other much, we don't even celebrate each other's birthday, and we used to tease everyone and making joke of everyone. But they are the ones, whom I could be totally be me in front of them. I could shout, cry, laugh like an idiotic lady, sneeze loudly til the building shakes, fart like nobody's business, etc etc. (Well, the sneeze part is a bit exaggerated, but when you hear the sneeze of my dad and my bro, you'll know that I'm not exaggerating at all! Haha) And I'm really really glad that our family are still in one-piece. I used to think that every family is the same as mine, but after know a lot of friends, I learnt that I should really be grateful for what the God gave me. I have both parents that I can't say that they are madly in love with each other, but they care for each other and they're there for each other. Not many people are as fortunate as I am, as I have a very complete and happy family.
I love being with my family! I'm comfortable with the way we live with each other. Whenever I had problems, or when I'm sad, the moment I make fun of my bro, it would light up my day. haha! Me and my bro, used to tease each other a lot, where he kept calling me fat and I kept laughing him for over-reacting upon insects (he's super afraid of insects.) Talking of insects, if you know me, you'll know how much I'm afraid of that super disgusting and filthy cockroaches. And guess what, my bro is even more scared of cockroaches than me! the moment he hear cockroaches or bee or whatever insects flew into our house, the next moment you'll notice that he isn't by your side anymore, but hiding in his room or somewhere else. haha! and you could totally imagine the way he looks when he ran away. *laugh-out-loud* Haha! but anyway, he do cheered up me the most in the family. We don't use to tell each other secrets and those girly girly stuff, but.. talking to him and joke around with him definitely will lighten up my days! =)
My dad. hmmm. what to say about him? Oh, he's also afraid of cockroaches. haha! I guess my whole family except mum are the largest victim of cockroaches. I personally hope that they'll extinct one day, although it is quite impossible. =/ Ok, come back come back! Well, i guess this quote can be used perfectly on my dad. "You can't judge a book with it's cover". Why? My dad looked like a gangster or someone who is suuuuuper strict and don't laugh or smile or talk or sing or do whatever that are "not-serious". In fact, my dad do sometimes don't laugh or smile as often as my mum. (Mum is a bit "sampat" like me) Well, my mum is always jealous of me because she said that my dad loves me more than her. Haha! but deep down inside, we know that he loves us equally. =) I'm the daddy's girl that is spoiled by my dad. To be honest, he woke me up every morning to class, even nowadays. He still prepares my breakfast for me when I was up preparing to class. Even he has no work and has no reason to wake up early, he'll still simply wake up to make my breakfast. He would text me everyday to ask me whether I need supper or not and stuff like that. He doesn't show how much he care about us, nor talk much to us, but we can feel it from his action.
My mum. Haha! Well, if you met my mum, you'll know that you could be best friend with her! My mum is like my best friend. We'll share a lot of gossips, stories and even yellow jokes. Yaaa, what kind of mother who talk yellow jokes to her son and daughter? MY mum. She's someone who could offset my dad's strictness. Well, I guess without my mum in the house, the house will be super quiet. She's always the one who like to joke a lot, and when her joke is not funny, she'll still laugh like mad woman when telling us her joke or story. (and mostly, we ignore her, when her joke is bad) My mum loves to nag on us a lot, she could keep talking and talking and talking about a same thing over and over again til we can memorize what she said. But, I know that she's doing it for the sake of our benefits and she care about us a lot a lot. My mum loves to knit and sew, she even sew pencil cases, bags, phone cases, etc to me and also my friends! To be frank, my mum is over 50 years old, but she looks like 30+ and the way she talks to us, it felt like she's our friend that only few years elder than us. Haha, she'll be damn happy if she saw this. Whenever my friends told me that my mum looks like, and I told her of course, she'll be super duper happy for the rest of the day!
Well, this practically sums up my family members in my home. I used to have my grandma staying here at my house with us. But she's now staying at Penang with my relatives. I always miss her a lot, our family always talks about her. Well, thank god our house line could call to land line without charges. We always called our grandma to chat with her. And know about her recent health level. Few years back when I was in TARC, my grandma was in ICU for several days. The doctor even ask us to prepare ourselves for the bad situation. To be honest, I cry for like two thousand times for that week. Haha, I was really really worry about my grandma and I was so not really to let her go. If not mistaken, I do wrote a blog post at that time about my grandma, you could read it if you want to, but I forgot which date dy la. Anyway, I used to be "boh dua boh seh" (disrespect) my grandma, haha, but not in the way that you think of course! I told her that she looked really cute, just like a bulldog, and also penguin and the same time. Haha! My grandma is super short with a round tummy. When she walks, she'll walk like a penguin, which is adorable. And the way she look, I don't know why but it somehow reminds me of bulldog. And I enjoy holding her hands and squeezing her elbow's skin, and I like to "slap" her hand where all those fats could bounce here and there when you slap it. Haha! Sounds super disrespect right? I know I know. But i enjoyed it, and she didn't mind! so, i'd continue what I did until now and most probably for the next few years too. Haha!! :)
So, my mum, dad,, bro and grandma, I love all of you so so so so so so much! Without all of you, it wouldn't even have a "me" around. Without all of you, I wouldn't be the "me" now. God, I love them so so much, so please bless them with greatest health and safety. Thank you! *pray*
May they be free from danger;
May they be free from mental suffering;
May they be free from physical suffering;
May they be well and happy always.
Sadhu, sadhu, sadhu!

I've tried
You know, I've tried my best not to text you; call you and even think about you.
And most of the time it worked well.
Well, most of the time.
But sometimes it doesn't. :(

10 Things About Living Abroad: No Turning Back
Well, I read about a post of living abroad alone on the net just now. So, i thought it was a piece of good article and it was worth to share. So here it is:
Moving around the world teaches you many things. It isn’t for everyone. It takes a special type of person to be able to do what we do. Packing up all your things into two carry-on bags and two checked pieces of luggage is struggles in itself, and to generalize imagine being a woman! I could only bring 10 pairs of shoes! Your mother will go through that luggage and make you narrow it down to seven cardigans instead of 17 and she will remind you that those shorts still don’t fit and haven’t fit for 3 years, you should probably just let them go. Along with letting those shorts go you are also letting go of friendships, relationships, comfort.A wise man told me that the reason we move to new countries is because we are either running from or running to something. I laughed and thought he was crazy. I just wanted a change; there was no rationale to my choice. The more I thought about it, the more I realized he was right. I wasn’t just running from something, I was sprinting as far as I could. What I didn’t realize was that this choice has now started the foundation of my future. Just like a tattoo, that first little taste and you want more and more. No turning back.
1. Freedom. A new sense of freedom. Freedom to do and go as I please. Freedom to travel. Freedom to make choices without a safety net. Freedom to be yourself.
2. Watching your life at home pass by. Birthdays come and go. Marriages. Deaths. Life doesn’t stop and wait for you.
3. Math skills strengthen as you are always trying to convert your local currency to your home country. You know it is even better when you convert your new currency to your previous country. Everything is still in pesos for me.
4. Communication. Responding to someone in any language but the language they are speaking.
5. Stories. The stories you will have to tell for the rest of your life are so unbelievable most people will think you are exaggerating. Hospitals. Airports. Dentists. You try getting your point across in any means possible. And do I mean ANY means possible.
6. You realize little holidays and moments you didn’t think mattered are the ones that make you the most homesick.
7. Growth. As much as you hate to admit it with each move you grow. You learn the best ways to pack, meet new friends, get around, and survive.
8. Adrenaline. Those thrill seekers jumping off canyons and out of airplanes have nothing compared to boarding a plane and traveling to an unknown place. Not knowing anyone. Not knowing your surroundings. Not knowing the language. Now that is a real adrenaline rush.
9. Patience. Realizing no one understands you. No one cares. Ordering food, getting in a taxi and normal every day tasks take patience. Nothing is ever easy. A 10-minute task at home will take you 60 minutes. Accept it.
10. Having to say hello for the first time and having to say goodbye for the final time. Not many people get to experience this, but I have perfected it. This could quite possibly be the hardest and most dreaded part of my life.Start slow, go to a new place. Alone. Go to a city by yourself. Go on a vacation, alone. Throw yourself out there. Your own sink or swim. When you begin to panic and want to go home that is when your fight or flight will kick in. That true inner strength will shine through. You will fight it out and you will thank yourself later. I know I did.

Promises.
So, I've came across of this word in my mind during my intern: "I don't want to spend the rest of my life sitting in the same spot, doing the same thing." But unfortunately, it will be the way I work in the future. Finance student, what we usual work is 95% computer-based. We have to face computers while keying in data, while searching for data, while looking at the market, etc. Haihh, guess my lens power will increase to 1,000 within few years time. Who knows 5 years later, you'll be looking at a Harry Potter version of me =.= (Hope not)
So, in order to avoid too much "dull-ness" in my working life in the future, I would like to promise myself a small trip over the world, every year, be it a solo trip, friends trip or family trip; locally or internationally. This is a promise I made to myself, and definitely hope to achieve every year! By this way, there's something to hope for during those hectic life. At least, something for me to wait for, every year. =)
Really hope that I could make this promise come true, every year.
*fingers crossed*

P.S.: Short local trips on the beginning of my work;
Long international trips after the first 3 years of my work.
=)
How good that is?
But I do hope that the first international trip is to somewhere full of Angmohs and snow!
Teehee!
Short-Term Goal
Sometimes, I just wish to randomly pack some clothes, take a flight to somewhere no one knows me and have a great adventure. And leave whatever I had behind or out everything on hold for few months!
In the future, I'll definitely go on a backpack trip alone, maybe somewhere around December, to some place that will snow. And celebrate my Christmas over there. Or perhaps, some place a little more adventurous?
Gahhh, random thoughts of mine during the mid-day. Shall continue my study now :)

Fragile Life
The more I know about you, the more heartbreak I am.
Life's fragile. You can't have total control of your life.
People come and go easily everyday.
=(
Although I don't know you, but, i feel really really really sad for it to happened.
Everyone keeps telling your family and girlfriend to stay strong, but how long they need to pull themselves back together? I hope the best for them and support you guys from here, in my heart.
God bless them, and may He bring a better next life to you and your father.
Rest in peace, stranger.
Life's fragile.
Appreciate them.
There are people who fights everything for their life and there are people who gives up on their life easily.
People, don't take our life for granted!
There are more people that have worst condition than you and yet you try to end your life?
Don't be so f stupid.

Though I know it's the truth, but still,
break my heart into thousand piece.

my family, friends and those I only see once.

Last Day.
Do you ever thought of this question?
"If today is my last day of living, am I satisfied with what I am now?"
=(
RIP, stranger.

Confession, Oh, Confession!
If you're my friend, you'll know that I'm a "Caucasians-addict". Well, I had a confession to make over here. I am a little too obsess with Caucasians, to be frank. A lot of my friends were like, "Caucasians, so what?", and they throw me that dirty look. But I'm crazy about the way they talk, their slang, the way they look, they hair, their smile, and literally everything about them. Sound crazy and a lil creepy(or very creepy)? Urmm, I just enjoy looking at them and hoping that one day they'll notice me and come talking to me (which is impossible). But IF I'm so fortunate enough to have Caucasians reader out there, please please please don't take me as a creepy girl. I'm not! Yikes, I know I don't sound convincing. But, I'm really not! Srsly.
Well, I kinda embarrassingly and indirectly asked the exchange students in my class to take some pictures with us. Well, to be honest, I'm damn ashamed of myself to not ask you guys directly but to use this stupid indirect way. But what to do, I'm shy. I don't even dare to start a conversation with you guys, although thousand and thousands of sentences I've practiced to talk to you guys. I know I know, I'm disappointed towards myself too :( But who am I to them, to ask them to notice me while I'm just a nobody.
Anyway, enough of the excitement of Caucasians. Ton and tons of assignments are waiting to be complete by this weekend. I shall let my excitement on "pause" and "play" them when I'm free later on. ;)
P.S.: I'm really happy that we took this picture together.
Haha! :)
Christmas is just 48 days left!!
and appointment with the doc is 49 days left.
*sigh*

Sometimes.
Sometimes, I feel just right.
Sometimes, I feel happy.
Sometimes, I feel motivated to do some stuff.
Sometimes, I laughed too much that I teared myself.
Sometimes, I'm grateful.
Sometimes, I joked too much.
Sometimes, I miss someone too much.
Sometimes, I cried in the middle of the night.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only one out there.
But most of the time, I'm happy, for who I am and who I have around me.
I have family that care for me a lot although, love is not what we used to express out loud.
I have friends that treat me like family, that care for me like I'm their little sister.
I'm grateful.
Sincerely.
I learnt a lesson from a friend of mine. Well, be grateful in life.
You're very much "richer" than a lot other out there.
You have family, friends, health, money, love, what else do you expect?
Be contented.

P.S.: I noticed that half of my viewer were from US!!
Well, Caucasians, please notice me! :)
Hmm, is my English understandable by you guys?
Or you're laughing at my grammar mistakes while reading through my post?
=)
