♥ There's a rainbow after every rain ♥

I just finished my 6-days orientation in MMU today. Even stayed there for 5 days. It's been a busy week for me over there. Every day gather at some place at 7am, means waking up at 6am (which is a lil' hard for some pig like me). And most of the activities ends at 12am. Well, let me tell you everything about it here, bloggie. =)

Day one:

which is on sunday, 9am, 29/5/2011, was the registeration day. After registering and getting the hostel keys, i started my stay over there. I first met Vynie, which was my roommate, and soon-turned-out to be my groupmate too. So at around 1.45 pm, we gathering around the hall for some programme briefing and rehearsal. And here, we knew about the OCs and DMs. Well, OC stands for Orientation Committee and DM stands for Discipline Master. Ha, yeah,

discipline master. Dying hair is not allowed, must tie hair, must be formal or semi-formal, can't be late for even one minute, blablablah. yeah, at first i was like, O.o, shit lah you, this is uni not secondary school! So, for the whole day after that, we're in the grand hall for rehearsal for the next day, which is the opening ceremony. Everything ends at around 11.45pm, if i'm not mistaken.

Day two:

We gather at the carpark at 7 am !!!!! yeah, means i'd slept for like, 5hours? yeah, at first everyone kept on complaining about the "lack of sleep" problem, until OC Danny, which is our MC for the whole week told us that most of the OCs slept at 4 or 5am, and they didn't complain and blablablah.. yeah. so, most of us just stop complaining. :) so, we had a grand openning ceremony that day, by having a LIVE CONFERENCE with MMU melaka. is was very fun while doing the video conference, because, both melaka and cyberja

ya was competing with each other. we shouted in front of the video cam, we danced, sang, cheered, and done alot funny stuff. :) So, after the opening ceremony, we had a ice breaking ceremony. Well, we learnt alot of dance. and also cheer~! and played alot games. and punishment. haha, such as dance on stage, sing on stage, act on stage, etc. Yeah, and on this day, we had been punished by the DM. Reason? Because some of the guys were late for few minutes. And everyone is punished together. All of us, stood under hot sun and sang "permata dunia". More accurately, we shouted the song of "Permata Dunia", which is the song to symbolize MMU. Its a special song though. I cant get rid the song rhythm off my mind since then, even until now! Well, back to the punishment, it was my worst punishment i've ever had i my life! i felt so blank that time, maybe its because of the weather, i felt like going to faint. Well, after repeating for aloooot of times of the song, we're allowed to go in the hall. And yeah, this e

Day three:

We've been separated into 18 groups. each group got has around 30+ freshies i think. and yeah, fortunately i'm in GROUP 11!!! why i'm so happy about being in group 11? Urm, part of it is because of the mobile OC, OC Kash and OC nurul. :) and part of it is because i met alot new great friends ! not to mention that my roommate, Vynie, turned up to be one of my groupmate too! :) So, we had tons and tons of briefing that day, about security, finance, etc. So, after that, we had our campus tour and activities during evening. Honestly, TARC's Human monopoly was MUCH MORE FUN!! :) Not that MMU activity of that day not fun la, just, TARC so more than fun. SORRY to say that though. =( And after that, we've b

een told that we have to create a musical dance that themed on "flashback" with Bee Gees's Staying Alive. And the day after is the day we perform! O.o So after practicing and stuff, we ended our practice at 12.30am i think. Phheeeeww, what a tired day it was that day!!! Not to mention, it was my birthday that day. And yeah, just spend my birthday there, with tiredness and practice and also, BRIEFINGS.

Day four:

Like the day before, we had briefingsssss this day too! Then we had our own little time to make last practice until the dance begins. So, yeah, at around 9pm, all of us gathered in front of the hall and then, the event started. So, Group 11 was the second group to perform. and guess what, i don't even know what we're doing on stage. It was so so sooooooo embarassing. Maybe due to lack of practice, when its time to to do, none of us remember and just stunted at the middle of the stage! i was like. O.o shit shit SHIT!!! haha. So, ignore our perfo

rmance, overall, the night was a fab!!!! :) we enjoyed alot! And it felt like we're in the club and everyone is dancing and shouting. haha !! And guess what, the DM that all of us afraid of, turns out to be dancing and playing around with us! And i guess, most of the freshie there got high because of the DMs!!!! haha, because they was acting so funny and it was so different from the usual them. I still remember DM Taseen for his Roti Canai :) That day, we took alot of pics with the OCs and other freshies too! it's a really happy happy day for me. :)

Day five:

As usual, we gathered at the carpark at 7am sharp. But this day, DM Caryn, which is the DM handling the girls smiled at us! it like a miracle for some of us, cz we never see her smile! haha. Yeah, and in relax and happy mood, after breakfast, everyone moved towards the hall. No more punishment on this day, as we all have seen all the true colours of the DMs. So, all the DMs was playing and fooling around. :) it was a happy moment! So, as usual, after some briefing, we're allowed to go to our own mobile OC for the last gathering, because i

t was the last day of the orientation. OC Kash told us that: "Every end of a story is the beginning of the other story." And he gave us some advice about studying in MMU. Well, felt like crying when he advising us. And i think i saw there's tears in his eyes too! Since, we have not enough time, all of the freshie, including OCs didn't take our dinner, and straight continue to our next and last event of the orientation. Well, *sigh*, they kinda blindfolded us once again. We went in group-by-group, and group 11 was the first to go in. So, we're all in the first row. Since we're all blindfolded, we can't see anything in the hall. Once we open our eyes, the hall was dark. But lighted with a couple of candles, it made a romantic feel in the hall! and OC Una was singing in front of the hall. I never noticed it was her singing until i was "unfold". Wow, i thought they're playing of radio at the beginning! So, i fell in love with her voice! haha. :D

And after everyone was in the hall, all the OCs sat on the stage. Talking one-by-one about their feeling about this orientation. I still remember the moment i cried, was the moment one of the OC (i don't know which OC's talking, since i was closing my eyes) said: "There's no more roll call from today onwards. There's no more OC serving you food from today onwards. There's no more punishment. There's no more DM. There's......." yeah, this was when i started crying. Well, it's been n years ago since i last cried this way. :( And yeah, i guess most of the freshies cried too! at least freshies around me were all crying. And especially when OC Danny said "sayang", i heard a lot people crying out loud! I even saw OC Taseen, OC Kash, and most of the female OCs were crying. And yeah, OC CK, when he told us his story, i was, erm, i don't know how to describe what's the feeling, but, i admire you OC CK!!!! you're awesome!!!! :) We sang loads of the song we practiced for the last time. Everyone was hugging each other, sing and d

ance with each other. That moment, is one of the moment i'll never forget in my life! Like what the OCs said, it will be one of the happiest moment in your life at MMU. Awww.. how much i hope to have the recording of the Numa-Numa dance, Chicken dance, Butterfly dance, the cheers, Freshie song, Permata Dunia, etc. So, by this, we ended the closing ceremony. Soon after the ceremony and the cam whores, part of my groupmate went Oldtown near MMU for "dinner" at 10pm. :) Weird, but, seems like none of us feeling hungry nor having gastric! But, yeah, happily, we had our very first dinner together. :) By this, we end the night with a sweet smile and swollen eyes on face! haha!! :D

Day six:

It was the course registeration day. On this day, we had to comp

ete with each other to choose the time, teacher and class you want to be in. Thanks to DM Deeban for helping us. :) So after finishing the course registeration, all of us headed home. And officially ended our 6-days orientation.

So, yeah, wow. it's a loooooooooong looooooooong post this time ! ouch,
