Day with Button

I always wanted a dog at home. For years I've been asking for it and my mum doesn't allow.
Miraculously, this year, my mum allowed me to rear one!
So I brought her home 2 days back.
My brother and I spent a lot of time in thinking a name for her.
Simply because we fell in love with her, even before we meet her face-to-face.
Big thanks to Chadwick for allowing us to adopt his puppy. :)

So, we named her Button.
We've been so excited for her arrival. And worry at the same time.
For Button being our very first puppy in the family.

First day was tough.
To be honest.
She was so afraid, in the new surrounding.
Brought her to vet, and saw her trembling all over.
Felt so heartsick, by just looking at her feeling so afraid.

Night time was a nightmare.
She kept waking up every single hour and whine.
But I'm more than willing to accompany here in her crate.
Til she fell asleep.
I never felt so committed in my life, FYI.
I love her, I realized.
Eventhough I just spent a day with her.
Looking at her falling asleep, I couldn't resist but take pictures of her.
We even made a handmade bed and toy for her!

But the first night, we faced pee-poo problem.
Most probably because she's still don't feel safe in the new environment.
I couldn't remember how many websites I gone through,
just to learn to let it poop.
I've even joined several Yahoo Group for new owner of puppies.
Just to learn and try to be a good owner.

Vividly I remembered, that this morning when the moment she pooped.
Everyone was so happy for her that she finally pooped.
They said a puppy will normally poop for 3-4 times per day.
And yet, Button hasn't poop once yesterday.
So, we were really happy for her.

She definitely sleep a lot.
Play for 30min and sleep for an hour or two.
Like a baby pig.
Adorable huh?
=)

This was taken the moment she just woke up.
I think she loves her handmade toy-toy since she'll bite it whenever she sleep. =)

But the ownership of Button with our family,
only lasted for 2 days.
I don't know what I could do to avoid her being send home.
Except crying.
I already miss her, eventhough she's still at my house.
Soundly asleep.
I cried. My heart sank.
I guess, this is the hardest time I've cried after....
watching "Love from the Star". (No choice, Imma cry baby)

Why do I have to send her away after only two days?
My family couldn't take it, I guess.
They're sick.
Mum's sick.

I've tried to argue with them.
To gain the access control of Button.
But, overheard my mum vomiting in the washroom.
I have no choice but to send her away.
Maybe mum's sensitive to her.

I have no choice.
I'm sorry, Little Button.
You know I love you.

Maybe you'll be happier, when you're back to your mum.
Maybe you'll forget me within half a day, after you're back to your mum.
I'll miss you.

Please faster wake up. and let me play with you for the last half day.
We gonna send her back tomorrow morning.
I'm sorry Lil Button.
Thanks for letting me try to be a owner.

P.S.: I'll miss you.
A lot.
A lot.

The Fault In Our Stars, John Green

I've read the book recently.
It kinda taught be a lot of things by reading the book.
In case if you don't know about the book, it's about the life of a girl who had cancer and it will never heal.
It's a love story of the girl with a boy who was a cancer survivor but his cancer return and eats up his life in the end. It's also a love story among friends and family.
In fact, it's a really really great book!

There are a lot of quotes in the book that I really like and I would like to share it here.

Indeed.
The world won't grant your wish, they will only take them away.

When Hazel Grace said this, it kinda break my heart.
In fact, the book reveals so much truth about life.
Truth that hurt a lot.

“It's a metaphor,
see: You put the killing thing right between your teeth,
but you don't give it the power to do its killing.”

During Amsterdam.
I love how John Green wrote and described about Amsterdam.
Thou I never been there, but it felt like I'm there.
Just by reading.
The power of reading. Ha!

"I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity.
I wouldn't trade it for the world.
You gave me forever within the numbered days,
and I'm grateful."

*Spoiler alert*
This was mentioned by Hazel during Augustus's funeral.

This is the sentence I spent a lot of time reading it.
The sentence that I fell in love with.
I read and re-read for a dozens times, before continuing to the next part of the story.
It was the part when Augustus told Hazel about his return of cancer.

His last word.
In letter.
To Van Houten.
='(

"Okay" has officially become one of the most romantic words.
At least for me.
And other readers.

I guess the words, the story of the book, will be on my mind for quite a long time.
I'm in love.

P.S.: John Green,
I'm gonna buy all your books and read all of it!
=)
Okay.

You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the ONLY choice you have.

"You're a very strong lady."
Someone told me this few days back.

Well, I'm not.
It's just that, sometimes situation force you to be strong.
You have no choice but to be strong.

P.S.: I'm wondering whether is my skin too thick;
or the doctor inject too much of pain-killer.
I didn't feel any pain on my wound.
Seriously.
But thank God to that.
:)
