Long-loss dream

Long long time ago (well, its actually few years ago), i had a dream. it all started when i'm form 3. that year, i went pulau redang with my family. and enjoyed snorkelling a lot, and just looking at the corals and fishes in the deep blue sea, i'm satisfied and happy already. =) however, 2 years later, i went there again with my parents, everything are not as beautiful as it used to be. the corals are not as colourful as it used to be. even the fishes too, seems to be like migrated to other places, left very less. i'm really sad that time as the beautiful sea which i used to call it paradise, doesn't exist anymore! so, since then, i had a dream. a little dream that i wished that it would comes true one day later. i dreamt to be a marine biologist, to find out a way to help to cure our "once-beautiful" sea; to find out more about deep sea creatures, like the Colossal squid--largest squid in the world.
But "dream remains dream, it's not reality", that's what my mum said to me. after spm, i actually wanted to pursue my dream of marine biologist. but my mum told me that it's just a dream, i won't be able to cope it. Even when i went to education fair, when i ask about marine biologist, those people will be like.. "why do you wanna be marine biologist? you can't be able to find a good job or even uni that provide this course in malaysia! People in malaysia are selfish enough to think about themselves but not other animals! You should think more about reality" some guy told me in that education fair. and once my mum heard of it, she's just wouldn't let me go towards my dream. and yeah, i had to give up. so, i took a-levels after spm. and now going to undergraduate finance course, which i actually think it's quite lifeless.
Although i can't go pursue my dream, i had this one goal to myself that i MUST achieve it when i'm still alive. i will get a diver's license. after i got that license, i'll dive in the sea all around the world. i might not have that much money to do that, but at least, once in every one or two years time after i got a stable income. *cross my finger*
