Just had a little thought to myself earlier just now. The remaining 50%-70% of our life is spent waiting. When we are young, we wait to grow older.
When we grow older, we wait to be enrolled into schools (primary, secondary, tertiary).
When we finish our studies, we wait to get our first permanent job in life.
When we got our first job, we wait to get our very first salary.
When we got salaries, we wait to accomplish life dreams and goals.
When we got enough money, we wait to get our other half.
When we got our other half, we wait to get marry.
When we got married, we wait for the arrival of our kid(s).
When we have kids, we wait for them to grow up.
When the kids grow up, we wait for them to get good work and other half and grandkids.
When they got married and have a good life, we wait for the time to die.
(Even when we load YouTube, we wait. lol)
Wait, wait, and wait.
Some people's waits are longer than others. Some even have infinite waits along the way.
Some days are worth waiting, and some doesn't.
But no matter how long you spent on waiting, you'll achieve what you want, it's just a matter of time.
I guess, there's no use crying over the time spent on waiting. Why not enjoy the moment of waits?
P.S.: People starts to lose the meaning of life,
when they started to care about how much they earned.
Amount you earned ≠ Amount of happiness you owned
Care about how happy are you, people! :)
